We are both a public school for young people from the Surselva region and a private school for students from across Switzerland and abroad. The Gymnasium & Internat Kloster Disentis is located on the grounds of Disentis Abbey, founded in 614 and recognised as the oldest Benedictine monastery north of the Alps. Benedictine hospitality can also be experienced in the monastery’s own hotel, which features a public restaurant with a garden terrace as well as a variety of seminar facilities.
