When students complete their journey at the GKD Disentis, they become part of our alumni family. The connection between our alumni, the school, the boarding community, and the monastery has always been remarkably strong. Even years after graduation, many stay in close contact with us—returning for school festivals, Alumni Day, or class reunions.

A Strong Network
Our alumni are organised in an official association open to all former students as well as current and former teachers. Together, they form a valuable network that supports both graduates and our current students.
Every two years, we invite alumni from various universities and professional fields to present their studies and careers. Their insights showcase the wide range of opportunities open to our graduates—from law, medicine, economics, and mathematics to theatre, music, computer science, geography, languages, game design, film, and more.
